Terms and conditions

Between you and Relica, a Lebanese fashion label selling online at relicaworks.com and over WhatsApp on +961 78 921 549.

They apply to every order placed on this site or agreed with us on WhatsApp or Instagram. Using the site means accepting them.

You add pieces to the bag, fill in the delivery form and place the order. That is your offer, and the confirmation screen with an order number on it is a receipt of the request, not yet an acceptance.

We accept when we reply on WhatsApp confirming the pieces, the total and the delivery fee. If a piece has gone in the meantime we say so then, and nothing is charged, because nothing has been paid.

We may decline an order. The reasons are dull ones: a piece is out of stock, an address we cannot deliver to, or an order that looks like a mistake in its own quantities.

• Prices are in US dollars and are the price of the piece. The delivery fee is separate and is confirmed on WhatsApp before shipping.
• Payment is cash on delivery, handed to the courier. We do not take card payments on this site and we never ask for a card number.
• The follower discount is 10 per cent off a first order for following @relicaworks. It applies to the pieces, not to delivery, and it does not stack with another offer.
• A price shown wrongly on the site is not binding. If a piece is listed at a price that is obviously an error, we will tell you before accepting the order rather than shipping it and asking for more at the door.

We deliver across Lebanon by courier. The fee depends on where you are and is agreed with you on WhatsApp before the parcel goes out.

We give a delivery estimate rather than a guaranteed date, because the courier is not us. If a delivery is running late, message us and we will find out where it is.

Risk in a piece passes to you when you take it and pay for it, which is also the moment you have had a chance to look at it.

Photographs are of the real piece. Colour reproduces differently on different screens, and a print is cut from a run, so the exact placement of a pattern varies from one piece to the next. That variation is the nature of the thing and is not a fault.

A finish, silver or gold, is the plating named on the piece. Treat plated pieces the way plating asks to be treated: off before water, off before perfume, kept dry.

Stock is what the site says it is at the moment you look. Two people can reach the same last piece within a minute of each other, and the second one is told on WhatsApp, not at the door.

You may browse, order, share a link and quote us with a credit. You may not:

• copy the photographs, the wordmark or the site's text for another shop,
• place orders you do not intend to accept at the door,
• attack the site or try to reach the admin side,
• scrape the shop in a way that degrades it for other people.

The Relica name, the flower mark, the wordmark, the photographs and the words on this site are ours. Nothing here transfers a right to use them.

A photograph you send us about a return is used for that return and nothing else. If you tag us in a picture of a piece on Instagram we may reshare it there with a credit, and if you would rather we did not, tell us and we will take it down.

The site is provided as it is. We keep it up and fix what we find, and we do not promise it will be reachable every minute or free of every error.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss: a plan that depended on a delivery arriving on a particular day, or time spent. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here reduces your rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by Lebanese law, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction. Lebanon's Consumer Protection Law No. 659 of 2005 applies to a sale made here and nothing on this page overrides it.

We would rather settle a problem in a WhatsApp conversation than anywhere near a court, and in practice that is what happens.

We may change these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and the terms that apply to an order are the ones on the site at the moment the order was placed.
