Privacy Policy

Relica is a Lebanese fashion label. We sell fashion pieces in leopard and zebra print, in silver and gold, and we deliver across Lebanon.

This policy covers relicaworks.com. It does not cover Instagram or WhatsApp, which are run by Meta under Meta's own policies, and it does not cover a courier's own handling of a delivery.

Reach us on WhatsApp on +961 78 921 549 or on Instagram at @relicaworks. Either one is enough to ask for a copy of what we hold or to have it deleted.

Nothing on this site asks you for anything until you place an order. At that point the form asks for:

• Your name. So the courier knows who to hand the parcel to.
• Your WhatsApp number. So we can confirm the order, agree the delivery fee and tell you when it is on its way. It is the only channel we use.
• Your city or area, and your address. So the parcel arrives.
• A note, if you write one. A wrist size, a gift message, a time you are home. Only what you choose to put there.

Alongside those we keep the order itself: the pieces, the finishes, the quantities, the prices, any follower discount, the order number and the date. There is no account to create, no password, and no card number anywhere, because payment is cash on delivery.

Two things, neither of which carries your name:

• A visit count. Your browser is given an anonymous identifier and one record is kept against it: how many visits, when the first was, when this one began, when we last saw you, whether the screen is a phone or a desktop, and the last page opened. No name, no phone number, no address, no network address and no browser string. It exists so we know whether anyone is reading the shop.
• Ordinary server logs kept by our host while serving the page.

The visit count can be switched off, and the switch is a real one: there is a button on the cookies page that turns it off for this browser and it stops immediately. We do not run Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or any advertising or session recording tool.

Orders and the visit records sit in Google Cloud databases hosted in Europe, in a project only we can sign in to. Google is our processor: it stores the data and does not use it for anything of its own.

Inside Relica, the only people who see an order are the ones who have to: whoever packs it and whoever answers WhatsApp.

A courier is told your name, your phone number and your address, because that is what a delivery is. Nothing else about your order goes with it.

• We never sell, rent or trade your details.
• We never hand a list to an advertising platform, and we run no advertising pixel here.
• We never message you about something you did not order. There is no marketing list.
• We never ask for a card number, an identity document or a date of birth.

An order is kept for as long as it is useful to both of us: while it is being made and delivered, through any return or exchange, and afterwards as the record of a sale that we may need if you come back about the same piece.

Ask us to delete an order and we will, unless a return is still open on it. Say so on WhatsApp with the order number.

A visit record holds nothing about a person, so there is nothing in it to delete. Switching the count off stops any new one being written for your browser.

The 10% follower discount asks nothing of us and nothing of you beyond a follow. We do not receive a list of our followers, we cannot match a follow to an order, and claiming the discount stores a flag in your own browser rather than anything on our side.

Messaging us on WhatsApp means Meta carries the conversation, under Meta's policy. So does a direct message on Instagram. If you would rather not use either, say so in the order note and we will call the number you gave us.

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• tell you what we hold about you,
• send you a copy of it,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete it, where no open order or legal record depends on it,
• stop using it for something you object to.

Lebanon's Law 81 of 2018 on electronic transactions and personal data gives you these rights here, and the GDPR gives you the same ones if you are reading this from Europe. Ask on WhatsApp or Instagram. It costs nothing and we do not ask why.

The shop is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly take an order from one. If a child has sent us their details, message us and we will remove them.

The site is served over HTTPS. The database refuses any write that does not match its rules, which is what stops an order being altered from outside, and the admin side needs a password we alone hold.

No system is perfect. If something goes wrong with data we hold about you, we will tell the people affected rather than hope it goes unnoticed.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version number in the footer tells you which build of the site you are reading.
